1931 The late Dr. Kiichiro Hasumi advanced the hypothesis of cancer propagation by virus and started studies to prove his theory.
1946 Electro-Chemical & Cancer Research Institute was founded in Chofu-City, Tokyo, Japan.
1948 Clinical application of the Hasumi Vaccine was started.
1958 Shukokai Incorporated was established and the Shukokai Clinic & Office opened.
1961 An experiment to prevent cancer generation by applying the Hasumi Vaccine was started in Heguri-mura Village, Nara Prefecture, Japan.
1988 Dr. Kenichiro Hasumi was appointed chairman of Shukokai Incorporated.

2001 Tokyo Metropolitan Government certified the NPO Immunotherapy Conference.
In cooperation with Saitama Medical School and Changchun College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Electro-Chemical & Cancer Research Institute developed the Immuno Hasumi, an anti-cancer Chinese traditional medicine, and started its clinical application.
In joint research with Thomas Jefferson University, the Hasumi DC & AT Vaccine was developed and its clinical application was started.
The first symposium entitled, "The Recognition and Elimination Mechanism of Cancer" with Hiroyuki Itsuki, a popular novelist, as its keynote speaker, was held in Osaka under the auspices of NPO Immunotherapy Conference.
The clinical trial on Hasumi Vaccine was started in Brazil. "International Cancer Vaccine Symposium" was held in Tokyo under the auspices of Dr. K. Hasumi Fund, successfully attracting many famous scholars who are conducting cancer research internationally.
